Australian Pet Welfare Foundation
PO Box 5042 Kenmore East – 4069
At APWF, we use phone calls to fundraise, as we receive no government funding and rely solely on donations to support our work in saving the lives of cats and dogs in shelters and pounds around Australia. These have been very successful so far, with lots of Australians generously donating towards the cause. To help keep the cost of fundraising as low as possible, some of these calls start with a pre-recorded message – but they’re always transferred to one of our team members in Australia, as soon as someone indicates an interest in making a donation. We’re always looking to improve our processes and welcome any feedback for our fundraising team. We hope you’ll consider supporting our work – or any of the other great organisations looking after our furry friends.
Please note: We’ve recently been made aware of scams involving individuals seeking donations that they claim will be used to provide assistance to wildlife affected by the recent Australian bushfires. The Australian Pet Welfare Foundation is a pet health research and advocacy group. We are not involved in caring for wildlife, and we would never seek donations for this purpose. If you get a call from someone claiming to be raising funds for wildlife on our behalf, please let us know.
