We welcome the NSW Government’s strong support for humane, evidence-based cat management, including targeted desexing, community engagement, and legislative reform – and look forward to further action to improve outcomes for cats, people, and wildlife across the country.

Rejecting mandatory cat containment, this Report backs evidence-based measures - large-scale desexing, education/behaviour change, support for rescues, registry upgrades, and humane fertility control - to reduce roaming and improve welfare.
